My name is Paolo, currently 39 years old. After spending over a decade travelling all around the world for a multinational Italian industrial company, I felt it was time to come back home and do something a little bit different with my life. Be a photographer.
Over the last 8 years I've built up my photography professionalism working in Milano (Italy) for editorial market and stock agencies.
I occasionally have people take an interest in my lifestyle and travels. I visited 50 countries, more or less, with a focus on Europe and Asia. I love traveling, photography, play chess and speak with people.
About my photography...
From 2009 I've built up a collection of images (with focus on travel photography) which are available for license on a number of online microstock photo agencies on a royalty free basis. I shoot with a Canon 5D MK II camera with professional L series lenses and process all files from RAW (exceptionally, on jpg when is mandatory to use a compact camera for size reasons). My workflow is optimized from capture through to the final output to ensure that maximum image quality is retained. Files are generally not heavily processed - I use the absolute minimum of sharpening and noise reduction to ensure that images can be used for a wide variety of end products. For me, optical quality and capturing an image in the best light are of critical importance.
